TEXTILE DESIGN, COLOR, MATERIALS, PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT

Jessica Brown is a Michigan-based Textile Designer with more than 20 years of experience across apparel, automotive, and furniture. With a passion for color, materials, graphics, and storytelling, Jessica brings ideas to life through thoughtful, consumer-focused design and a deep understanding of the product development process.

Her experience includes trend research, material and graphic development, extensive product testing, and working closely with vendors to create products that balance beauty, durability, and dependability. She has traveled extensively to vendor facilities to develop new products, build lasting partnerships, and establish new sources.

Outside of her professional work, Jessica is an artist who enjoys painting and experimenting with encaustic as a medium. She loves spending time up north with family, exploring the beauty of nature, and collecting unique artwork and vintage finds for her mid-century-inspired home in Royal Oak.

STILL LIFE COLLECTION

Photos are metaphors, making the abstract concrete and mystifying the mundane. Be clear, be confident, and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself.
